The horizon being extended 'forever' in headstones is a trick of perspection. There's a hill that gives the optical illusion in the shot.

Was a rainy day when I shot it.

why are all the graves the same? is it an armed forces thing?? I love the photo (excellent perspective), but wouldnt want to lay around this one.. gotta have trees.
